Relationships Ministry

Mark 12:28-31 ESV And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, "Which commandment is the most important of all?" Jesus answered, "The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Please understand that Christianity is NOT a religion. It is a relationship with God made possible through Jesus Christ. It is also about our relationship with others.  God wants us learn how to love others with His love. That is why Godīs commands for the church in the New Testament do not tell things like when and where and how to meet. Itīs not about meetings it is about learning to live with each other. What God want for his people is this:

Love One Another
Live in Harmony with One Another (Not Judging)
Welcome One Another
Instruct One Another
Greet One Another - Warmly
Wait for One Another
Care for One Another
Have Humility Toward One Another
Comfort One Another
Agree With One Another
Serve One Another
Bear One Another's Burdens
Bear With One Another
Forgive One Another
Be Kind to One Another
Teach and Admonish One Another
Have Fellowship With One Another
Address One Another with Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs
Submit to One Another
Encourage One Another
Do Good To One Another
Exhort One Another
Confess To One Another
Pray For One Another
Show Hospitality To One Another

Galatians 6:10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

God wants believers to live together as a "household" a family. He want us live out the commnads listed above. For a complete Bible study of these commands - click here.

The church, Godīs People, should be built upon relationships with each other. Not upon programs or activities. This is why we put and emphasis on House-Churches. People need to be in a place where they are close enought to grow together and to build relationships with each other. This is what the Bible calls Fellowship.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Have you ever been on a Christian retreat? -OR-  Have you ever gone to church camp -OR- Where you involved in a campus ministry in college. Have you ever had a time when you were close to the people you were with and together you were growing closer to God? That is what the Church should be. It doesnīt have to be only for special times in your life. This close relationship between believers is what God wants His church to be like - all of the time.
